Hello from Trevor and
Sonia Webb and welcome to our website. We are situated in a lovely
rural setting near Hahndorf within the Adelaide Hills, South
Australia. We thoroughly enjoy spending time with our dogs
whether it is leisurely or competitively in the show ring and Trevor
also has aviaries and enjoys breeding a variety of small and large
parrots.
We have always loved
Gundogs and in the mid seventies we became involved in both
conformation and obedience with Gordon Setters.
After our Gordons passed
away we became interested in German Shorthaired Pointers. We were
fortunate to get hold of “Andy” - Gr Ch Heiderst Cointreau On Ice,
from Heiderst Kennels, (renowned GSP Kennel owned by my sister
Raylene Smith and niece, Liat O’Malley). Andy is now 12 years old
and with the help of Raylene and Liat, we achieved Andy’s Grand
Championship. Dear Andy has retired from a successful show career
to a very comfortable life as “house dog”.
After several years of
showing Andy, Trevor became particularly interested in English
Springer Spaniels. In 1996 we purchased our first Springer “Cassie”
from Silvaspring Kennels and then we picked out “Riggs” from
Tarnell Kennels, John & Judy West. Riggs is a blend of English and
American lines and he has been a pleasure to own and has had a very
successful show career.
We were looking at a new
direction with our English Springer Spaniels and one evening over
dinner our discussions with Carlos Savich (All Breeds Judge –
Argentina, residing in UK), confirmed our thoughts about going back
to what we originally loved about the English Springer Spaniel
breed.
Thank you to Vin McPhee
and Sheryl Roach of Kinsheran Kennels for leasing “Veni” to us,
enabling us to start a new direction in the breed.
We thoroughly enjoy the
English Springer Spaniel breed, their lovely temperaments, devotion
and companionship.
We are very pleased to introduce our dogs.
